Clairmont Crest Celebrates Second Semi-annual Talent and Fashion Show

Residents, staff and visitors were treated to an evening of diverse entertainment during the second semi-annual talent and fashion show. With Clairmont Crest Director of Activities Zelda Ridley as MC, the talent showcased ranged from serious presentations to light comedian performances. Paintings, crafts, and published works added to the variety. The fashion industry was represented admirably by Clairmont Crest resident models. Features of the evening included these:

● Theresa Breuer, Sally Schillaci, Cotton McMullen, Robert Morris, and Emanuel Ridley thrilled the audience with a wide range of music presented in song.

● A Bible reading by Delores Robinson was beautifully translated into Sign Language by Ruth Newsom, and then Deloris read her own published poem.

● Betty Hunnicutt gave an inspiring poetry reading.

● Dr. June Butts shared thoughts on self esteem.

● Trudy Turner played spoons to a folk song from her native homeland of Germany.

● Sea Shell crafts were displayed by Trudy Turner.
