Holy Week at Clairmont Crest

Holy Week at Clairmont Crest was a time to reflect on the passion of Christ our Savior, His teachings and the last days of His life on earth.

Our Thursday evening Prayer Service Minister, Dr. Perry Ginn, and our Tuesday afternoon Bible Study Minister, Rev. Ted Keen, led the services and also served Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday. After everyone had been served the sacrament, Rev. Keen had a bell tolled 33 times to commemorate the number of years Christ lived on earth.

Special music was offered by a soloist each day:

- on Monday, John Reed played the piano and sang for the service.

- for Tuesday, Zelda Ridley, our Director of Activities sang with piano accompaniment by Marion Fowler.

- on Wednesday, Joyce Micheletti provided singing with Marion Fowler again playing the piano for the service.

- Maundy Thursday was the day of singing by Emanuel Ridley. Don Land accompanied him on the piano and also played during for the Holy Communion service.

- Good Friday had a song performed by Sallie Schillaci, with Marion Fowler playing for the solo and for the following service.

A week of services leading up to Easter Sunday provided moments of worship and praise preparing for the celebration of the wonderful Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
